Dietetics and Nutrition

At St. Elizabeth, the specialty for Nutrition and Dietetics provides clinical nutrition services to both inpatients and Outpatients. The nutrition and dietetics team provides acute and community-based services. Our dieticians are highly qualified & experienced to establish nutritional needs and to recommend appropriate nutritional treatment to optimizing patient’s health.

Services –

  1. Assess patients’ nutritional needs and develop modified diets in accordance to the patient’s condition & disease.
  2. Coordinate with doctors & other healthcare professionals in providing medical and nutritional support to patients
  3. Counsels individuals and groups on basic rules of good nutrition. Healthy eating habits and nutrition monitoring to improve their quality of life.

The dietician also conducts consultation on all aspects of nutrition which includes nutrition management for the following –

  • Vitamin & Mineral Deficiencies
