Occupational health deals with all aspects of health and safety in the workplace and has a strong focus on primary prevention of hazards. The health of the workers has several determinants, including risk factors at the workplace leading to cancers, accidents, musculoskeletal diseases, respiratory diseases, hearing loss, circulatory diseases, stress related disorders and communicable diseases and others. Occupational health refers to the identification and control of these risks arising from physical, chemical, and other workplace hazards in order to establish and maintain a safe and healthy working environment. These hazards may include chemical agents and solvents, heavy metals such as lead and mercury, physical agents such as loud noise or vibration, and physical hazards such as electricity or dangerous machinery.

Our Occupational health department has an experienced team of Occupational Health professionals that are well versed with occupational health requirements of Oil & Gas industry. We are one of the few hospitals to have a licensed Occupational Health Specialist heading the department, ably supported by our Pathologist, Cardiologist, Physicians, Nursing, Technical, and administrative team. Our Occupational Health team does a comprehensive assessment of our patients to identify health risks in their infancy and help in eliminating workplace injuries.
